About Us
At Ardmore House, we believe every person should live a life filled with purpose, independence and connection. Our environment, staffing model and therapeutic approach work together to create a home where meaningful occupation is part of everyday life, not an occasional activity. The Ardmore House strives to implement an Occupationally Enriched Living Programme and promote positive outcomes for future residents.
We are proud to offer a warm, supportive and engaging home where residents feel valued, empowered and truly at home.
Ardmore House is a modern, spacious domestic home for adults with learning disabilities, located in the heart of Finaghy. Our home sits close to excellent transport links to Belfast and Lisburn, as well as local shops, a leisure centre, cafés, gyms and other community facilities that help residents stay active, connected and engaged in everyday life. Our location provides opportunities for community participation and social inclusion.
We are registered with RQIA to support up to six adults aged 18 and over. Our model of care is designed to meet a wide range of needs, including individuals who require 1:1 support and those with greater independence. Every resident has their own singleoccupancy bedroom, promoting privacy, dignity and personal choice. Several of our rooms are exceptionally spacious, offering flexibility for sensory equipment, specialist furniture and meaningful inroom activities. These rooms provide sufficient space for support staff to be present whilst maintaining the residents’ personal space and promoting a homely, noninstitutional environment.
